PDF Redactor

Black out or mask sensitive regions on PDF pages with rectangles and circles — entirely in your browser. Pages you mask are flattened in the export so covered content is not left selectable underneath.

Private by design. Processed in your browser. Nothing uploaded.

How it works

  1. 1Choose a PDF.
  2. 2Go to each page that needs masking and draw rectangles or ovals.
  3. 3Download the redacted PDF. Unmasked pages stay as normal PDF pages.

FAQ

Do you upload my PDF?
No. Preview and export run locally with PDF.js and pdf-lib.
Is this permanent redaction?
Masked pages are burned to images in the download, so covered text/graphics are not left as selectable PDF content on those pages. Unmasked pages are copied unchanged. Always review the export before sharing.
