- Does this do OCR?
- No. It reads the existing text layer only.
- Is the PDF uploaded?
- No. Extraction uses PDF.js locally.
- Can I download a Word file?
- Yes. Download .docx for a Word-friendly copy of the extracted text. It preserves line/page structure you choose, but it is not a pixel-perfect layout clone of the PDF.
- Do you support .doc?
- No. Modern .docx is supported; legacy .doc is not.
